Free Family Fun!

2022 MINECRAFT PROGRAM

Monday 10 January - Friday 14 January

This year, young people and families can join our free online program and take part in fun daily challenges online from anywhere in the world!

Daily Challenges

Each day we'll be announcing a fresh daily challenge theme via our Facebook page.

Simply create something that fits the daily theme (it can be anything... a sandcastle, chalk art, a drawing or painting or even a Minecraft screen-shot) and message a photo of your creation to our Facebook Page before 9am Melbourne time the next day... we'll be announcing the winners and giving away some amazing prizes!

Foundation to Year 2

Each morning from 10:00am to 11:30am Melbourne time the team will be hosting a Minecraft-centric Holiday Program via Zoom.

The sessions will run on Zoom, with storytelling, games, hints and challenges prepared using Minecraft to illustrate the daily theme from the Gospel of Mark.

The sessions are free, but registration is required and numbers are limited.

Year 3 to Year 6

Each afternoon from 2:30pm - 4pm Melbourne time the team will be running an online afternoon program for young people in Years 3-6.

The sessions will run concurrently in Minecraft and Zoom, with immersive activities in Minecraft and building challenges to illustrate the daily theme - taken from the Gospel of Mark.

The sessions are free, but registration is required and numbers are limited.

Year 7 to Year 12

Each evening from 7pm - 8:30pm Melbourne time the team will be running an online evening program for young people aged 12-17 (attending secondary school in 2022).

The sessions will run concurrently in Minecraft and Zoom, with activities in Minecraft to illustrate the daily theme from the Gospel of Mark and a focus on engagement, discussion and truth seeking via the chat in Zoom.

The sessions are free, but registration is required and numbers are limited.

Rosebud Scripture Union Family Mission (Rosebud SUFM) is a group of volunteers from various Christian denominations and churches across Victoria who love to volunteer their time to plan and run the program at Rosebud over summer.

Safety and care is important to us and all team members are required to have a current Working With Children Check and ChildSafe training.

Rosebud SUFM is an initiative of Scripture Union Victoria - a Christian volunteer movement working with children, young people and families, developing leaders, empowering communities and impacting lives through camps, holiday and school programs.
